FIFTH YEAR MASTER OF SCIENCE STUDENT IN DESIGN AND PRODUCT DEVELOPMENT

Hello! During my five years at Linköping University I've gotten the opportunity to partake in projects and studies at, in total, four universities in four countries. During these years I've gained a lot of knowledge and improved my skills as a product developer.

I'm currently working on my master's thesis at Grafren AB, where I'll conduct a material driven project and develop some conceptual products to visualize the possibilities of the material graphene. I expect to present and graduate in November!

Skills
Over the years I have gained experiences in multiple areas:
Circular design
Sustainability is and will continue to be important to integrate in my projects.
Workshops
I have collected many methods on how to best increase creativity in a group. I know how to adapt the methods and structure workshops to suit each goal.
Graphic Design
I have learned to make a message easily understood in digital forms using text, images, colours, visual hierarchy and much more.
Presentation
With much practice, feedback and by partaking in workshops I feel confident speaking in front of large crowds.
User centred projects
One of my great interests is how we interact with products and how to make a product user friendly. To do this properly I have several methods in my toolbox in collecting information.
Programming
During my time at AUT, I took the opportunity to learn programming using Java. I enjoy programming and seeing how my code can generate the desired result.
Visualisation
Whether it is about visualize an early concept, a product, or a process, I can make it easy to understand. I regularly use both manual and digital tools, depending on the situation.
Group dynamic
By working in project form even before university, plus my several projects abroad, I have learned how to cooperate with different people. Being the project leader in a major project I experienced some challenges, and I take those lessons with me in new projects, no matter which part I get, so that the group can succeed.
