Recycled lamp-shade

We were to make a lamp shade for a school lamp and decided to use recycled paper (lots of thrown out exams and bill for examples) glued together in an organic shape, supported by a plastic net to get the structure.

Lego robot race

Build a robot out of lego that can pick up a cup filled with loose lego and put it down on the other side of the obstacle course. Quickest robot wins!

My competitive side was brought out here, it was loads of fun making the robot! We worked out a successful design, and my excellent driving brought my team to victory! We were only sad our teachers didn't let us have a robot fight afterwards.
