By having the landlord leasing the white goods in their accommodations directly from manufacturers, instead of buying them, it becomes more beneficial for the latter to design their products to last longer. If they can be repaired when something breaks instead of being thrown away, the manufacturer can save money on material and the world can move towards a more circular society. It also increases the possibility for tenants to adapt the white goods in their apartment to their needs. This project was recognized by IVA as one of the 100 most interesting projects on sustainability.

For my bachelor thesis, my partner and I worked on the interactive aspect, especially how the different parties should communicate. We did this by conducting questionnaires and interviews with the different parties to determine what they needed to know, what they wished to know and how. We also explored the different technical opportunities.
